I fell in love with this wine when I first tried it last year. It's a blend of shiraz grenache and viognier, taking its name from Henry Evans, who planted the first vineyard at Keyneton in 1853. Lovely aroma shows a mix of floral and stone fruit characters with hints of liquorice. The palate is silky and fine with lovely texture. A stylish wine. 86/100. Drink: Now to 2007. Food: Duck breast with eggplant.
