Twelve iconic Australian families from 12 iconic regions with over 1200 years of winegrowing and making experience came together in 2009 with the intention of celebrating and promoting the unique heritage of Australia’s premium wines.
With this rich history and heritage, these families represent the best that Australian wine has to offer. From the stories that have shaped them, to the land that sprouts their vines, through to the liquid in your glass, Australia’s First Families Of Wine represent the heart and soul of Australian wine.
This is a unique and fun-filled tasting experience, you will spend an afternoon meeting and ‘speed-dating’ each member of AFFW. Taste through our wines, hear our stories and get an intimate understanding of what makes the First Families so special.
