As Clean Up Australia Day falls in the middle of vintage for us each year, we postponed our business clean up day to Wednesday 11 May.

Henschke staff members from the vineyard, winery and office rallied together to collect rubbish in our local community of Keyneton and around the winery.

All rubbish collected was collated for reporting to the Australian Packaging Covenant.

As a part of being an Australian Packaging Covenant signatory and in line with our beliefs about protecting the environment and sustainability of our business, our aim is to reduce our impact on the planet’s resources with our policy of purchasing our packaging that is, where possible, manufactured with recycled materials, or just as importantly, that our packaging is either reusable or recyclable. See more about our commitments here.

In taking part in Clean Up Australia Day, we recognise our goal to contribute to the quality of life in the wine regions that we operate in.
