“We are well and truly in the depths of winter and have been experiencing cooler than average temperatures and higher rainfall than we have had for a number of years.
The dam is almost full which is a huge relief going into spring and summer. Last month we released two special back-vintages of Hill of Grace in lieu of the 2011 vintage, the 2005 and 2006, which are both now over a decade old. They have been resting in our cellars in the most ideal of conditions and are now available, as a pair, in a beautiful custom-made collector’s box and accompanied by a book of stories, tasting notes, cellaring information and a foreword from the most celebrated wine industry figure, James Halliday. Please visit our website for more information on this 2005 | 2006 Museum Release Collector’s Edition. The great man just gave us the most fantastic review for our soon to be released 2012 Cyril Henschke Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2010 is currently our Cellar Door feature wine and is on the tasting bench for the duration of winter. Watch this space for the release of very exciting 2012 vintage.” – STEPHEN & PRUE HENSCHKE
