COVID-Safe Regulations
At Henschke our number one priority is the health, safety and wellbeing of our staff, guests and the wider community. With this in mind our cellar door tastings and experiences have been modified slightly to suit the SA Government Covid-Safe regulations. We continue to ensure that social distancing protocols are adhered to, regular cleaning is undertaken, hand sanitising stations are available and we are offering contactless payments (no cash if possible please).

Our Hill of Grace Experience offers exclusive access to one of our most renowned Henschke vineyards, Hill of Grace, together with a tour of our historic working winery and your own private tasting.

Observe the rows of the Hill of Grace vineyard and stand in awe of the ancient, gnarled vines. Soak up over 150 years of winemaking history as you explore parts of the original winery built in the 1860s, feeling the pride the Henschke family have in their past and their hopes for the future. Then, settle in your private tasting room to enjoy a range of distinguished Henschke wines, including The Wheelwright, Cyril Henschke, Mount Edelstone, plus rare access to taste Hill of Roses and Hill of Grace.

A minimum of two and a maximum of six guests are required for this private experience. Bookings in advance are essential and current COVID-Safe regulations apply.

“I would not hesitate in recommending…It would be a fabulous gift to give to that person who has everything.” – Alice

We enjoyed the tour immensely…I’ve done quite a few tours in many wine regions over the world and whereas many others have been quite clinical and commercial, the Henschke experience was anything but and was absolutely memorable and charming.” – Gary

“The experience was a highlight of our time in the Barossa. Not only did it allow us to taste some truly special wines (which we otherwise might not have tasted) it gave us a great insight into an Australian icon – Hill of Grace – and more generally, into wine making in the Barossa. It is an experience I highly recommend and will definitely repeat again soon.” – Allan

As to protect the health the of our vines, we thank you for not entering our vineyards without a host.
